SpaceX signed Cloud Services Agreements totaling $14.1 billion in contracted sales during its second quarter, nearly twice the $7.8 billion of revenue the entire company produced in the period. The AI segment revenue reached $2.6 billion, up 247% year over year, driven by a sevenfold increase in AI solutions and infrastructure revenue to $2.2 billion. Chief financial officer Bret Johnsen said the company contracted an additional $6.7 billion of cloud services revenue in the first weeks of the current quarter. Capital expenditures for the AI segment were $15.8 billion in the quarter, and the segment still posted an operating loss of $1.3 billion, though its adjusted EBITDA turned positive for the first time at $1.1 billion. SpaceX ended the quarter with $100 billion of cash and marketable securities, helped by $85.7 billion of IPO proceeds and a $25 billion June bond sale.
