Alphabet Inc Class CxAI's new compute rental deals with Alphabet could bring in nearly $2.5 billion a month.
Space Exploration Technologies, better known as SpaceX, made its public debut on June 12 as the largest stock market debut in history, but one analyst remains skeptical despite the surge. The company claims a $28.5 trillion total addressable market, with 93% expected from its AI division, a figure more than 50% larger than the combined revenues of the entire S&P 500. Its core launch and satellite business is just a $370 billion slice of that, and the global space launch market itself is worth roughly $22 billion today, expected to grow to $100 billion by 2036, with American companies likely barred from key markets like China and India. The AI unit xAI is burning roughly $1 billion a month, its Grok model has lost ground to competitors, and its subscriber count declined in 2026, though new compute rental deals with Anthropic and Alphabet could bring in nearly $2.5 billion a month combined, albeit with a 90-day opt-out clause. Governance concerns include Elon Musk holding about 85% of voting power through shares that outvote public shares 10-to-1, a board not required to be independent after reincorporating in Texas, and shareholders barred from class action suits and jury trials.
