SPX Technologies shares rallied on Friday after the HVAC supplier raised its full-year sales and profit forecast, citing booming demand for AI-driven data center temperature management solutions. Revenue jumped 23% year over year to $679 million in the fiscal second quarter, while adjusted earnings per share increased 22% to $2.02. The $430 million acquisition of Neptronic expanded its thermal management portfolio, and management now sees potential for $1.1 billion in total data center equipment sales at full production, up from a prior projection of $750 million. For the full year, SPX expects revenue to grow roughly 21% to $2.7 billion and adjusted earnings per share to rise about 24% to $8.40.
