Siam Technic Concrete Public Company Limited, or STEC, reported second-quarter 2569 net profit of 71.98 million baht, up 160.89 percent from 27.59 million baht in the same period last year. Revenue was 617.49 million baht, up 14.12 percent from 541.10 million baht, supported by a 12.98 percent increase in sales and service revenue and 6.16 million baht in construction revenue from a project in Asia Industrial Estate Suvarnabhumi, which had no such revenue in the previous year. For the first half of 2569, the company posted revenue of 1.35 billion baht, up 12.52 percent, and net profit of 157.91 million baht, up 56.91 percent from 100.64 million baht. Net profit margin rose to 11.57 percent from 8.33 percent, while the debt-to-equity ratio fell to 0.93 times from 1.03 times after gradually repaying long-term loans. Mr. Jesadakorn Mongkolsrisawat, Managing Director for Marketing and Sales, said the outlook for the second half of 2569 remains supported by government infrastructure investment policy, industrial sector expansion, and rising demand for prestressed concrete products.
