Sunwave Communications released its 2026 half-year report, with net profit attributable to the parent rising 1,825.7% year on year to 50.39 million yuan. The company's first-half operating revenue was 12.07 billion yuan, up 173.8% year on year. Net profit attributable to the parent after deducting non-recurring items swung to a profit of 47.35 million yuan, compared with a loss of 5.28 million yuan in the same period last year. Net operating cash flow was negative 18.96 million yuan, down 138.3% year on year. Second-quarter operating revenue was 7.25 billion yuan, up 242.1% year on year, and net profit attributable to the parent was 28.78 million yuan, up 2,115.2% year on year. The company said its internet marketing segment became the main driver of revenue and profit growth, while new businesses such as short dramas and AI comic dramas continued their high-growth momentum.
