Supajee Confident US Tariff Talks Can Conclude Within a Week

Commerce Minister Supajee Suramphan revealed that tariff negotiations with the United States are progressing well, with all key issues already settled. Only wording and language details remain, which are expected to be finalized within a week. After that, the proposal will be submitted to the US Trade Representative to forward to the US President. She expressed confidence that clarity will be achieved within this month, and exports will proceed as normal, with the target tariff rates aligning with the agreements previously negotiated with the prior government. Subsequently, an appointment will be made for Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul to speak with US President Donald Trump.
