Super Micro Computer IncQ4 EPS of $1.70 beat the 68-cent estimate with 93% revenue growth and record backlog entering fiscal 2027

Super Micro Computer reported fourth-quarter fiscal 2026 non-GAAP earnings of $1.70 per share, beating the Zacks Consensus Estimate of 68 cents and up 315% year over year, on net sales of $11.12 billion, which rose 93% year over year and 9% sequentially and topped the consensus estimate by 1.09%. Revenue landed at the low end of the company's previously guided $11-$12.5 billion range because of customer readiness delays tied to power, cooling and networking shortages, with those revenues expected in later quarters, while the company disclosed more than $60 billion in new orders and said its order book and backlog reached record levels entering fiscal 2027. Non-GAAP gross margin jumped to 17.6% from 10.1% in the prior quarter, a 750-basis-point sequential expansion management attributed to a better-than-anticipated customer and product mix, and non-GAAP operating margin rose to 14.3% from 7.2%. For the first quarter of fiscal 2027, Super Micro guided net sales of $14.5-$15.5 billion and non-GAAP adjusted earnings of $1.01-$1.10 per share, with non-GAAP gross margin of 10.4% to 10.8%, and for the full fiscal year it expects net sales of $65-$72 billion versus $39.1 billion in fiscal 2026. The company also announced a 32-acre DCBBS campus in Silicon Valley, taking its U.S. footprint to nearly 4 million square feet, with total manufacturing capacity expected to exceed 6,000 racks per month, including more than 3,000 direct liquid-cooled racks.
