TBC Bank Group reported second-quarter net profit of GEL 386 million, up 12% year over year, with a return on equity of 23.6%. Operating income increased 10%, net interest income grew 13%, and the cost-income ratio improved to about 38%. Gross loans in Georgia rose 14%, unsecured consumer lending jumped 36%, and Georgian digital monthly active users climbed 19%. The board declared a GEL 1.75-per-share quarterly dividend, bringing first-half dividends to GEL 3.50 per share. In Uzbekistan, the loan portfolio grew 0.4% sequentially, nonperforming loans rose to 3.3%, and management expects cost of risk to increase in the third quarter. TBC also completed its acquisition of OLX, aiming to use the platform's more than 6.5 million monthly users for future loan and payment lead generation.
