Tech stocks fell on Tuesday morning as concerns about high valuations and artificial intelligence resurfaced, dragging the Nasdaq Composite nearly 2% lower. Semiconductor stocks saw some of the biggest losses, with AMD, Intel, and Qualcomm dropping over 7%, and Nvidia falling nearly 4%. Shares of memory giant Micron declined more than 11% ahead of its third quarter earnings on Wednesday, following a strategic agreement with Anthropic to supply memory and storage chips. Alphabet stock continued to fall after Nobel prize winner John Jumper announced he was leaving Google DeepMind to join rival Anthropic.
