SpaceX has completed its IPO, raising around $86 billion with another $25 billion expected via a bond issuance, potentially giving it over $110 billion in cash. Tesla, already a major supplier to SpaceX, is mentioned more than 80 times in SpaceX's IPO prospectus. SpaceX and its xAI segment have been significant buyers of Tesla's Megapacks for data centers and a planned moonbase. The companies are also collaborating on the Terafab chip manufacturing initiative and co-developing the Macrohard AI agentic platform. While Tesla is not yet a pure space stock, its deepening partnership with SpaceX suggests more of its hardware and software could be deployed in orbit.
