Thachang Green Energy PCLTGE advances ESG strategy with sustainability reporting, RE100 membership, and supplier ESG audits aligned to international standards

Thachang Green Energy Public Company Limited, or TGE, has announced it is concretely advancing its business in line with ESG principles under four main pillars: Build, Action, People, and Expand, aiming for its goal of becoming a 100% renewable energy organization. Ms. Laongthip Wanasuwankul, an executive director, disclosed at the Krungsri ESG Minute of Changes 2026 event that the company has begun preparing sustainability reports, setting strategies and key ESG issues, and analyzing its business value chain using international standard frameworks. On the environmental front, TGE has assessed and sought certification of its organizational carbon footprint for the fourth consecutive year, alongside applying circular economy concepts and waste management. This follows its certification and joining of RE100 since 2022. On the people front, the company gives employees opportunities to participate through the TGE Innovation Day project and is upgrading its human rights due diligence assessment, or HRDD, to comprehensively cover employees, partners, contractors, communities, and stakeholders. On the supplier management front in its supply chain, the company launched the Supplier ESG Site Visit project for the first time this year, having already visited biomass partner suppliers and key partners covering more than 80%.
