Meanwhile, Mr. Pornchai Prasertsindh from UBS stated that the capital inflows are just the beginning, and if the government can achieve economic growth as planned, more funds will flow in over the long term. DBS Vickers noted that some large foreign funds returned to the event for the first time since 2018 to track the developments of Thai listed companies. Investors believe that domestic institutional investment should play a more leading role to enhance liquidity. The long-term risk is the extension of US stock market trading hours to 23 hours, which could increase competition for attracting capital.
