Data from EntTelligence indicates that around 7.5 million tickets were sold in the United States, with over 45 percent for Premium Large Format screens, where the average ticket price was 19 dollars. IMAX 70 millimeter screenings accounted for 5 percent of total ticket sales, with an average ticket price of nearly 22 dollars and 50 cents. Analysts believe The Odyssey is likely to sustain strong earnings for several more weeks, as no major competitors are set to release until July 31, and it retains exclusive IMAX screenings for another three weeks.
