Shares of THREL rose 3% after it reported a second-quarter profit for fiscal 2026 of 32.06 million baht, up 239.49% from a year earlier. For the first six months, its loss narrowed 37.55% to 57.05 million baht. Reinsurance premiums accepted rose 6% to 1.112 billion baht, supported by the individual health insurance business. The insurance services segment posted a profit of 59 million baht, up 69%, even as revenue fell 2% to 527 million baht, because expenses were better controlled, down 9% to 457 million baht. As a result, the net combined ratio improved to 88.8% from 93.5%, and net investment income rose 12% to 21 million baht. Management is confident the company will return to a full-year profit in 2026 as targeted.
