Zhejiang Tiantie Industry Co LtdLithium new energy business reaching scale and capacity ramping up, expected to become major revenue driver.

Tiantie Technology Chairman Xu Kongbin recently told 21st Century Business Herald that the company's lithium new energy business has reached a certain scale, and with the official launch of the Anhui Tiantie lithium battery new energy project, this segment is expected to become a major revenue driver. Tiantie Technology entered the lithium sector in 2018 by acquiring Jiangsu Changjili, and later established Anhui Tiantie in 2021 to invest in a project with an annual capacity of 53,000 tonnes of chemicals for lithium batteries and supporting products. The production lines began trial operations in October 2024, obtained key qualifications in 2025, and are gradually ramping up. The company also spent 500 million yuan in 2022 to acquire a 21.74% stake in Tibet Zhongxin to secure upstream raw materials. Total investment in the lithium new energy segment has reached nearly 2 billion yuan. Although recent performance has been pressured by increased depreciation and expenses, with 2025 revenue of 1.58 billion yuan and a net loss of 214 million yuan, lithium series products contributed revenue of 242 million yuan, 367 million yuan, 478 million yuan, 314 million yuan, and 321 million yuan respectively from 2021 to 2025, accounting for about 20% of total revenue. As capacity is released, revenue from this segment is expected to continue growing.
