Tilray IncAcquisition expands medical cannabis patient reach and vertical integration in Canada.

Tilray Brands announced on June 29, 2026, that it is acquiring HelloMD Corporation, a digital healthcare and patient engagement platform, after gaining court approval as the successful bidder in HelloMD's formal sale process. The deal adds HelloMD's Canadian medical cannabis assets to Tilray's portfolio, creating what the company describes as a fully vertically integrated medical cannabis framework in Canada that links cultivation, clinical expertise, practitioner support, product access, and fulfillment. Tilray Canada President Blair MacNeil said the combination builds a more connected pathway for patients and healthcare practitioners, while HelloMD CEO Larry Lisser noted the platform has supported hundreds of thousands of patients through telehealth consultations and personalized guidance since its founding. Tilray also sees potential opportunities in adjacent wellness categories such as sleep support and pain management, where over-the-counter products represent a large market the company is not yet meaningfully part of. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
