Apple Inc.Tim Cook warns of iPhone 18 price hikes due to rising memory costs, which may pressure demand.

Apple CEO Tim Cook warned that rising memory costs will force the company to consider a range of options, signaling likely price increases for the iPhone 18. Cook said the June quarter will see significantly higher memory costs, with an increasing impact beyond that, as DRAM and NAND supply tightens due to AI server demand. Apple reported a March-quarter gross margin of 49.3%, but guided June-quarter gross margin to 47.5% to 48.5%, partly due to memory inflation and tariff-related costs. iPhone revenue hit a record $57 billion, up 22% year over year, and AAPL stock has surged 52% over the past year, trading at $298.01. The company also disclosed a fresh $100 billion stock buyback authorization and is investing more in silicon redundancy and AI, with operating expenses up 24% year over year to $18.9 billion.
