Tredegar CorporationQ2 earnings and sales rose strongly, with Aluminum Extrusions EBITDA up 56.3%.

Tredegar Corporation reported second-quarter 2026 adjusted net income from ongoing operations of 18 cents per share, up from 5 cents a year earlier, driven by strong gains in its Aluminum Extrusions segment. Sales rose 20.7% to $216.2 million from $179.1 million, while net income from continuing operations increased to $6.1 million from $1.8 million. Aluminum Extrusions net sales jumped 24.1% to $184.1 million despite a 5.8% volume decline, and EBITDA from ongoing operations surged 56.3% to $14.5 million, helped by favorable scrap spreads and FIFO timing benefits. High Performance Films net sales rose 4.2% to $25.6 million, but EBITDA fell 13.9% to $5.8 million due to resin-cost pass-through lags and higher fixed costs. CEO Arijit DasGupta said the company expects cost-reduction benefits to materialize within six to nine months, and Tredegar projects $20 million in capital expenditures for Aluminum Extrusions in 2026.
