Broadcom IncTruist cuts price target to $520 and trims FY2027 EPS estimate on Q4 guidance miss

Truist Securities lowered its 12-month price target on Broadcom to $520 from $550, while keeping a Buy rating, after the company's fiscal third-quarter results beat expectations but its fourth-quarter revenue guidance of about $34.8 billion came in slightly below the high end of Wall Street's estimates. Analyst William Stein also trimmed his fiscal 2027 earnings estimate to $21.12 per share from $22.35, citing a small miss in the infrastructure software unit. Broadcom reported revenue of $29.6 billion, up 86% year over year, and adjusted earnings of $3.32 per share, beating the $3.25 consensus, with AI semiconductor revenue surging 221%. CEO Hock Tan raised long-term AI revenue targets to about $115 billion in fiscal 2027 and $230 billion in fiscal 2028, citing demand from Google, Anthropic, OpenAI, and Meta, though he flagged potential constraints from data-center construction, power, and supply chain. Other analysts were split, with TD Cowen cutting its target to $475, while Citi raised to $515 and Cantor Fitzgerald to $600, leaving a consensus Strong Buy with an average target of about $521.41.
