CoreWeave, Inc. Class A Common StockTruist raises price target on pricing power; CoreWeave's own 25% price hike offsets Nvidia's GPU cost increases.
Truist Securities has raised its price target on CoreWeave to $165 from $155, arguing that the company's pricing power will more than offset Nvidia's reported 17% GPU price hikes. Analyst Arvind Ramnani noted that CoreWeave already increased prices across its product lineup by 25% in July, and expects these higher prices to flow through to margins in the second half of 2026, as Nvidia's cost increases affect systems shipped early next year. Truist estimates the pricing dynamic could lift contribution margins on future longer-duration contracts from roughly 24% to 33%, supported by tight demand and a backlog exceeding $104 billion as of Q2. However, the firm also warns that Nvidia's price hikes, driven by soaring HBM and DRAM costs, could add roughly $8 billion in capital expenditures for every gigawatt of capacity CoreWeave builds, with the company's full-year 2026 capex guidance already raised to $35-$39 billion. Hedge fund interest is rising, with 70 funds holding CoreWeave at the end of Q2 2026, up from 64 in the prior quarter.
