President Donald Trump posted on Truth Social that Chevron’s strong performance is thanks to the US government helping it return to business in Venezuela after being previously expelled, while demanding that Chevron and other oil companies immediately lower fuel prices for Americans. Trump asserted that without the genius, vision, strength, and stability of the Trump administration, the oil industry and the country would have collapsed, and said Chevron has re-entered Venezuela bigger and stronger than before, expecting massive profits.
