US President Donald Trump posted on Truth Social today, proposing to rename the Strait of Hormuz to the Trump Strait, claiming that the strait is already under US control. This proposal comes after he ordered the renaming of Lake Ontario to Lake America and the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America. Trump wrote, "Since we have brought this strait under US control, shouldn't we rename it to the 'Trump Strait'???" adding, "It will be hotter than it ever was."
