Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. Ltd.TSMC is raising prices on advanced nodes by 5-10%, directly boosting revenue and earnings.

Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing is reportedly raising prices on all its advanced manufacturing nodes by 5% to 10%, a move that could significantly boost its earnings this year. Advanced nodes, defined as 7-nanometer or smaller, account for 74% of TSMC's total revenue, and the price hikes are already being rolled out. The company's net profit margin jumped 7.4 percentage points year over year in the first quarter to 50.5%, and analysts project a 48% increase in earnings per share in 2026 to $15.80. However, TSMC reported a 65% surge in first-quarter earnings per share to $3.49, suggesting the higher pricing could drive stronger-than-expected earnings growth. If earnings per share rise 60% this year to $17.04 and the stock trades at 30 times earnings, the stock price could reach $511, implying a potential 15% gain in the second half of 2026.
