Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. Ltd.TSMC's Arizona expansion to $265 billion strengthens ties with the US, enhancing its diplomatic value and strategic position.

Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing (TSM) rose nearly 3% to $428.91 on Monday, as the world's advanced-chip factory leverages its semiconductor investments to strengthen ties with the United States and Europe. The company's Arizona expansion has grown to $265 billion after an additional $100 billion commitment, covering 12 American facilities, according to the U.S. Commerce Department. TSMC's second-quarter results showed $40.2 billion in revenue, a 67.7% gross margin, and a 60.3% operating margin, providing the financial firepower for this push. However, at $428.91, the stock trades 19.35% above its GF Value estimate of $359.38, leaving little room for error as TSMC must prove it can replicate its manufacturing success overseas without sacrificing its extraordinary margins.
