Turkcell Iletisim Hizmetleri AS reported second-quarter 2026 results with group revenue rising 2.5% year-on-year to TRY 71.8 billion, while net income came in at TRY 5.2 billion, pressured by higher depreciation from 5G assets and FX losses. EBITDA reached TRY 30 billion with a 41.8% margin, and the company surpassed 40 million mobile subscribers with postpaid net additions of 284,000 and churn improving to 1.6%. Digital Business Services revenue surged 33% to TRY 8.7 billion, and the company highlighted a $3 billion agreement with Google Cloud to build hyperscale data centers in Ankara, expecting data center and cloud revenue to grow from 2.3% to 10-15% of group revenues in five to six years. Management noted that the full impact of recent pricing actions will only be visible in 2027, while the first 5G license installment of $625 million was paid in January 2026, with two more installments of approximately $400 million each due in December 2026 and May 2027.
