U.S. BancorpU.S. Bank launches new automated Private Waterfall Engine, a product/technology development for fund administration.

U.S. Bank has introduced its Private Waterfall Engine, an automated platform for administering fund waterfalls in private markets, supporting multiple methodologies and automating carried interest, performance fee, and distribution calculations. The platform, part of a multi-phase technology transformation, follows a recent client lifecycle management launch with Fenergo and precedes an investor allocations solution expected early next year. Alan Flanagan, head of U.S. Bank Global Investment Services, said the engine reduces operational risk and shortens implementation timelines, enabling complex fund launches in weeks rather than months.
