Uber's operating income surged 57% year over year to $1.9 billion in its fiscal first quarter, with non-GAAP earnings per share growing at more than twice the pace of bookings. Gross Bookings climbed 25% to $53.72 billion, while revenue reached $13.203 billion, just missing estimates by 0.45%. The company's subscription service Uber One now has 50 million members, who drive over half of all bookings and spend three times more than non-members. Uber repurchased $3.011 billion of stock in the quarter, and insiders including CFO Balaji Krishnamurthy bought shares in June at $73.25. Analysts carry a $104.53 price target, and the company guided for second-quarter Gross Bookings of $56.25 billion to $57.75 billion with non-GAAP EPS of $0.78 to $0.82.
