Dr. Brown joined the company in 1998 and has guided its innovation strategy from early-stage development through commercialization, now leading global R&D efforts for OLED emissive layer technologies. The award recognizes leaders who bridge research and real-world application, with criteria including management leadership, innovation impact, and personal contributions. Universal Display, founded in 1994, holds or has rights to more than 7,000 patents worldwide and licenses its proprietary UniversalPHOLED phosphorescent OLED technology.
