Cerebras Systems Inc. Class A Common StockUnveils new CS-4 server with improved performance and efficiency
US AI chip startup Cerebras Systems on the 18th unveiled the CS-4, a new server system designed to accelerate inference processing for AI chatbots. It is equipped with three of the company's large-scale chips and adopts its in-house Nexus architecture, enabling the replacement of chip-mounted modules. The chips are manufactured using Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company's 5-nanometer process, with product availability set to begin in the third quarter. The company says it has reduced the number of components by 50% compared with previous models, which will help speed up data center construction. CEO Andrew Feldman said the company plans to deliver a total of 600 megawatts of computing infrastructure to customers by the end of 2027, and that processing speed will quadruple and throughput will increase twentyfold between now and the end of 2027.
