Ningbo Daye Garden Machinery Co LtdUS revokes anti-dumping and countervailing duties on its lawn mowers, boosting exports.

Ningbo Daye Garden Machinery announced that the US Commerce Department, in its first sunset review initiated on June 1, 2026, decided to revoke anti-dumping and countervailing duties on walk-behind gasoline lawn mowers exported from China to the United States, effective July 13, 2026, because no domestic US producers or other interested parties submitted substantive responses. At that point, US imports of such products will no longer be subject to suspension of liquidation, nor will they be required to pay cash deposits for anti-dumping and countervailing duties. The company first disclosed the final determination in the original investigation of this dual-duty case in May 2021, and the final results of the administrative review in February 2024 reduced the subsidy rate to 8.57 percent to 9.12 percent. The company stated that this revocation of duties will promote a return to fair competition for its exports to the United States, and it will consolidate and expand its position in the US market by leveraging its price and supply chain advantages.
