The US Federal Trade Commission sued telehealth company Hims & Hers Health on the 29th, alleging it provided users' health data to online advertising companies such as Meta Platforms and Snap, and engaged in improper billing and cancellation practices. The company is one of the major telehealth providers in the weight-loss drug market, also offering treatments for erectile dysfunction and hair loss. Christopher Mufarrige, head of the FTC's consumer protection bureau, said in a statement that the agency is acting to protect consumers' rights. Hims & Hers pushed back in a post on X, calling the lawsuit baseless.
