Valvoline IncSystem-wide store sales up 19%, comps up 8%, raised outlook

Valvoline reported third-quarter fiscal 2026 results with system-wide store sales increasing 19%, crossing the $1 billion mark for the first time in a quarter. System-wide same-store sales grew 8%, with ticket contributing more than three-quarters of the comp, driven by net pricing, premiumization, and non-oil-change revenue penetration. Net sales rose 24% to $545 million, EBITDA increased 25% to $162 million, and EPS grew 21% to $0.57 per share. The company raised its full-year system-wide same-store sales outlook to 7.5% to 8% and narrowed adjusted EBITDA guidance to $550 million to $560 million and EPS to $1.70 to $1.75. Management cited constrained supply of Group III base oil due to the Strait of Hormuz closure, expecting finished lubricant costs to rise approximately 60% from March levels, or $5 to $7 per oil change, while noting Valvoline's scale and supplier relationship provide reliable product access.
