BAE Systems plcBAE Systems selected as manufacturing partner for Vantor's next-generation Vantage satellites, securing a major contract.

Vantor has partnered with BAE Systems to manufacture its next-generation 20 cm-class Vantage imaging satellites, which are expected to begin operations before the end of the decade. The Vantage satellites are designed to collect the most accurate, highest-resolution commercial imagery on orbit and will integrate advanced technologies to increase collection opportunities, reduce latency, and deliver intelligence in low single-digit minutes. They are part of Vantor's planned expansion of its imaging constellation, which also includes a fleet of 40 cm-class Pulse satellites for high revisit, creating the first commercial space-based system that combines high-resolution imaging with persistent global monitoring in a unified architecture. The expanded constellation will fuel Vantor's 2D and 3D spatial foundation and extend its Tensorglobe spatial intelligence platform. BAE Systems was selected based on its extensive heritage in spacecraft systems and its long-standing partnership supporting the Vantor constellation.
