Wal-Mart de Mexico reported total revenue growth of 1.9% on a reported basis and 3.2% in constant currency for the second quarter of 2026, with eCommerce net sales climbing 16.2% driven by its On-Demand business. The company noted that consumer spending remains soft, leading to a slower-than-expected recovery in demand, and revised its full-year constant-currency sales growth outlook to a range of 3.5% to 4.5%. Newer businesses performed strongly, with Walmart Connect revenue up 31% and Bait revenue up 40% year-over-year, reaching MXN3.8 billion. However, Marketplace gross merchandise value declined 6.6% due to seller-related issues, and SG&A expenses rose 20 basis points as a percentage of sales, keeping the EBITDA margin flat at 9.6%. In Costa Rica, performance continued to be pressured by national deflation and customer trade-downs.
