Laundry You Public Company Limited, or WASH, reported second-quarter 2026 net profit of 13.15 million baht, down 59.43% from the same period last year, due to higher operating costs from continued new branch expansion and upgrades of existing branches. For the first six months of 2026, net profit was 32.32 million baht, down 36.53% from a year earlier. CEO and co-founder Chisanuphan Tangchalermkul said the company opened 53 new branches in the first half, up from 34 in the same period last year, and revised its full-year 2026 new branch target down from 100 to 80 branches to align with market conditions and potential locations. Meanwhile, the company has installed air conditioning at 87 branches, up from 17 at the end of 2025, and plans to add another 30 branches to reach 100 by the third quarter of 2026. Branches with air conditioning posted same-store sales growth up to 15 percentage points above the company average. Same-store revenue growth for the first six months of 2026 fell 3.6%, and in the second quarter of 2026 fell 8.8%, due to a high base from unusually heavy rainfall last year, along with a slowing economy and weaker consumer purchasing power. However, total assets as of 30 June 2026 stood at 2,825.52 million baht, up 4.01% from the end of 2025, while the company maintained an appropriate debt-to-equity ratio.
