WEC Energy Group reported higher second-quarter earnings and reaffirmed its full-year 2026 earnings guidance. Net income attributable to common shareholders rose to $299.2 million, or $0.91 per diluted share, from $245.4 million, or $0.76 per share, a year earlier. For the first six months of 2026, net income increased to $1.10 billion, or $3.36 per diluted share, from $969.6 million, or $3.02 per share, while consolidated revenue grew to $5.50 billion from $5.16 billion. Chairman, President and CEO Scott Lauber cited operating efficiency, financial discipline, and continued execution of the capital investment program. The company reaffirmed its 2026 earnings guidance of $5.51 to $5.61 per share, assuming normal weather for the remainder of the year.
