Wedbush said on Thursday that Apple is expanding its U.S. supply chain with Intel to offset memory pressure, after President Donald Trump announced on Truth Social that the companies had agreed to partner on domestic chip design and manufacturing. The analysts noted Apple had been weighing U.S. foundries for some chip production and that the latest move could help secure domestic capacity during a multiyear artificial intelligence cycle. They also said Apple may raise product prices later this year to offset higher memory and storage costs that are weighing on margins, but added that Apple appears well positioned to absorb the higher expense without sacrificing hardware performance. Wedbush kept its Outperform rating on Apple and a $400 price target.
