Wells Fargo upgraded Seagate Technology to Overweight from Equal Weight and raised its price target to $1,100 from $900, while also increasing Western Digital's price target to $730 from $575 and maintaining an Overweight rating. The firm expects both companies' fiscal fourth-quarter 2026 results to reaffirm confidence in sustained re-rating driven by long-term nearline exabyte shipment growth of 25% or more, blended average selling price increases, gross margin progression to 65% or higher, and extending demand visibility into calendar year 2030. Analysts led by Aaron Rakers noted that customer engagements with major cloud service providers are now stretching into 2030, with nearline HDD production capacity allocated through 2027 and visibility extending into 2028. Separately, South Korean memory chip maker SK Hynix is set to begin trading on the Nasdaq after pricing its American Depositary Receipt offering at $149 per share, raising $26.5 billion in the largest-ever U.S. listing by a foreign company.
