Xiantan Co. announced that June chicken product sales revenue reached 541 million yuan, up 19.12% year-on-year and up 5.09% month-on-month. Corresponding sales volume was 58,600 tonnes, up 10.96% year-on-year and up 6.96% month-on-month. Among this, the poultry farming and processing segment achieved chicken product sales revenue of 450 million yuan and sales volume of 52,600 tonnes, up 9.05% and 5.67% year-on-year respectively, and up 5.81% and 6.32% month-on-month respectively. The food processing segment achieved chicken product sales revenue of 92 million yuan and sales volume of 5,900 tonnes, up 117.58% and 99.59% year-on-year respectively, and up 1.73% and 12.97% month-on-month respectively. The company stated that the research and development, brand building, and market channel layout for the first and second phases of the prepared foods project continue to advance steadily, with related product capacity gradually being released, driving both sales volume and revenue of processed products higher.
