Youngy hit its second consecutive daily limit-up, Tianli Lithium Energy surged by the 20 percent daily limit, and Shenzhen Zhonghua A, Hymson Laser, and Tianhua New Energy were among the top gainers. On the news front, the main lithium carbonate contract on the Guangzhou Futures Exchange rose nearly 4 percent intraday, climbing above 162,000 yuan per tonne. A research report from CSC Financial Securities believes lithium prices have already priced in excessive expectations for overcapacity next year. Based on current fundamentals, raw material supply remains tight, lithium salt production has not yet recovered amid smelter maintenance and output cuts, and with the traditional September-October peak season approaching, inventory destocking has begun to accelerate.
