Yuntianhua's wholly-owned subsidiary, Chongqing Yuntianhua Tianju New Materials Co., Ltd., plans to invest in the construction of a 100,000-ton-per-year high-end copolymerized formaldehyde resin project, with a total investment of 1.857 billion yuan. Of this, 557 million yuan will come from its own funds, and the remainder will be raised through bank loans and other means. The project is located in the Changshou District Economic and Technological Development Zone in Chongqing. It includes a 100,000-ton-per-year high-end copolymerized formaldehyde resin unit, two 240,000-ton-per-year formaldehyde units, a 400-ton-per-year methylal unit, a 100-ton-per-year catalyst unit, and supporting facilities. Construction is expected to start in December 2026. The company currently has an annual copolymerized formaldehyde production capacity of 90,000 tons. This project will use self-developed production technology, which will further reduce energy consumption and improve product purity. The existing full range of products has already been certified by mainstream customers in the automotive and electronics industries, covering high-value-added mid-to-high-end sectors such as new energy vehicles, precision electronic appliances, and medical precision instruments. Yuntianhua stated that the project aligns with its development strategy and will drive the transformation of its polyformaldehyde business from leading in scale and quantity to leading in product quality. It will increase applications in mid-to-high-end emerging fields and further enhance the profitability of polyformaldehyde products.
