NVIDIA CorporationNVIDIA's AI infrastructure collaboration with Zayo expands its ecosystem and demand for its accelerated computing.

Zayo announced it is collaborating with NVIDIA to deliver critical network capacity for AI ecosystems, building more than 8,000 miles of new long-haul fiber across the fastest-growing AI corridors and significantly expanding capacity on existing infrastructure. The buildout will deliver six net-new long-haul routes across emerging AI corridors and overbuilds of existing network across 10 high-demand markets, part of a broader AI-focused expansion now spanning over 15,000 route miles across North America. Zayo CEO Steve Smith said the company is one of the few providers adding capacity to existing infrastructure while building in new locations at the scale AI requires, combining decades of network experience with NVIDIA accelerated computing. NVIDIA VP of Engineering for AI Infrastructure Vladimir Troy noted that the network is becoming as critical as compute itself, and the collaboration helps build the connectivity backbone the entire ecosystem needs. The expansion aims to serve not just hyperscalers but also neoclouds, frontier model developers, and enterprises across healthcare, finance, and manufacturing, addressing what SemiAnalysis CEO Dylan Patel called one of the most important infrastructure gaps in the market.
