ZEISS Medical Technology and Aier Eye Hospital Group have signed a strategic agreement for the purchase and installation of 25 ZEISS VISUMAX 800 femtosecond lasers. The signing ceremony took place on June 12 at Aier Eye Hospital Group's headquarters in Changsha, Hunan Province. The 25 systems will be progressively deployed across Aier's domestic and international networks starting later in 2026. The partnership aims to enhance patient care through technological innovation and bring precise refractive surgery to patients worldwide. Aier Eye Hospital will become the ophthalmic institution with the largest installed base of ZEISS VISUMAX 800 systems globally, the most ZEISS SMILE pro-certified surgeons, and the highest number of KLEx procedures performed with ZEISS SMILE pro in China.
