Sumec released its 2026 interim report, posting operating revenue of 66.422 billion yuan, up 19.66 percent year on year. Net profit attributable to the parent company came to 693 million yuan, up 6.62 percent, while non-GAAP net profit reached 630 million yuan, up 6.19 percent. Net cash flow from operating activities was 2.98 billion yuan, a sharp improvement from negative 313 million yuan in the same period last year, shifting from net outflow to net inflow. Driven by its dual-engine strategy of industrial chain plus supply chain, the supply chain operations segment achieved revenue of 51.066 billion yuan, up 24.56 percent year on year, with newly signed steel export value surging 73 percent. The industrial chain segment posted revenue of 15.288 billion yuan, up 6.22 percent, with specialty equipment revenue at 6.927 billion yuan, up 6.02 percent, and gross margin rising 2.18 percentage points to 20.84 percent. The shipbuilding business has an order backlog extending to 2030, and domestic trade contracts for diesel generator sets grew 72 percent year on year. The company completed a controlling merger of Lanpec Technologies, strengthening its energy, chemical and environmental protection segment, though that segment's revenue edged down 0.52 percent. The textile and apparel segment recorded revenue of 5.203 billion yuan, up 9.22 percent, with home textile exports to the United States growing 36 percent.
