Green Power Generation expects first-half 2026 net profit to drop 43.4% to 59.57% year-on-year
Green Power Generation disclosed its earnings forecast, estimating that net profit attributable to shareholders for the first half of 2026 will be between 250 million and 350 million yuan, a year-on-year decline of 43.4% to 59.57%. Net profit after deducting non-recurring items is also expected to be between 250 million and 350 million yuan, down 43.36% to 59.54% year-on-year, with basic earnings per share ranging from 0.12 yuan to 0.16 yuan. The company explained that the profit decline is mainly due to regional oversupply caused by electricity market reforms and the expansion of new energy installations. Intensified market competition has led to revenue growth falling short of expectations, while increased depreciation and interest expenses year-on-year have further squeezed profits.
