Huamei Holdings expects net loss attributable to parent of 14 million to 21 million yuan in first half of 2026

Huamei Holdings disclosed an earnings forecast, expecting a net loss attributable to the parent of 14 million to 21 million yuan in the first half of 2026, compared with a loss of 53.2011 million yuan in the same period last year. The net loss after deducting non-recurring items is expected to be 27 million to 37 million yuan, compared with a loss of 70.6412 million yuan a year earlier. The company said the loss was mainly due to declining revenue from advertising planning, newspaper distribution and other businesses, limited reduction in related costs, and a year-on-year decrease in investment income from associates and wealth management products, as well as government subsidies. However, the loss narrowed from the same period last year, thanks to cost reduction and efficiency improvement, the closure, suspension, merger or transfer of some loss-making businesses, revenue and profit growth in certain operations, and strengthened management of receivables. The impact of non-recurring gains and losses on net profit is expected to be 14 million yuan, mainly from government subsidies and guaranteed returns from media convergence.
