Huitian Thermal Power expects a loss of 90 million to 125 million yuan in the first half of 2026

Huitian Thermal Power disclosed its earnings forecast, expecting a net loss attributable to the parent company of 90 million to 125 million yuan in the first half of 2026, compared with a loss of 144 million yuan in the same period last year. The net loss after deducting non-recurring items is expected to be 91 million to 126 million yuan, compared with a loss of 147 million yuan a year earlier. The company stated that the loss is mainly due to optimizing the coal procurement structure, implementing off-season coal storage, and expanding long-term contract coal procurement channels to effectively control coal costs. At the same time, negotiations with upstream heating suppliers to lower the wholesale heat price have reduced the overall cost of purchased heat. Affected by the year-on-year decline in heating costs, the scale of the loss has narrowed compared with the same period last year. Huitian Thermal Power's main business is providing heating and engineering services to urban residents and non-residential users.
