SPIC Green Energy Da'an Project Achieves First Large-Scale Export of 3,750 Tons of Green Ammonia to South Korea
The Da'an Wind-Solar Green Hydrogen and Ammonia Integrated Demonstration Project, invested and constructed by Da'an Jidian Green Hydrogen Energy Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of SPIC Green Energy, successfully shipped 3,750 tons of green ammonia to South Korea via international sea freight under FOB Lianyungang trade terms on July 28, 2026, setting a global record for the largest single-batch green ammonia export. This export was entirely produced by the Da'an project, successfully completing the entire process of production, hazardous chemical consolidation at port, customs declaration and inspection, and ocean transportation. The Da'an project was approved for investment and construction in December 2022 and commenced trial operations in July 2025. The company stated that this export volume is relatively small, and overseas revenue accounts for a small proportion of the company's annual operating income, which will not have a significant impact on this year's operating performance. It will continue to develop customers in regions such as the European Union, Japan, and South Korea.
