Huawei Atlas 950 Super Node Set to Debut, Multiple Computing Power Concept Stocks Hit Daily Limit in Afternoon Trading

The A-share Huawei computing power concept sector strengthened in the afternoon on July 8, with GRG Banking, Ronglian Technology, and EmbedWay Technologies among the stocks hitting their daily limit. The direct catalyst was the upcoming debut of the actual Huawei Atlas 950 Super Node at the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference. The Atlas 950 is currently the industry's largest commercially available super node, designed specifically for trillion-parameter large models. A single cabinet starts with 64 NPU cards and can scale up to a maximum of 8,192 cards. Huawei's rotating chairman, Xu Zhijun, stated that this super node will maintain the world's strongest computing power for many years to come. Compared with Nvidia's NVL144, its card scale is 56.8 times larger, total computing power is 6.7 times higher, memory capacity is 15 times greater at 1,152 terabytes, and interconnect bandwidth is 62 times higher at 16.3 petabytes per second. It also leads Nvidia's NVL576, which is planned for launch in 2027. Dongxing Securities believes that with the large-scale deployment of the Atlas 950, the cost of inference and training for domestic AI models is expected to decrease. Guolian Minsheng Securities emphasized the strategic opportunity of the coordinated development of domestic computing power and independent large models.
