Simei Media expects to swing to profit in first half of 2026, with net income of 0.8 million to 1.2 million yuan

Simei Media disclosed its earnings forecast, expecting net profit attributable to the parent company of 0.8 million yuan to 1.2 million yuan for the first half of 2026, compared to a loss of 11.4024 million yuan in the same period last year, achieving a turnaround from loss to profit. The company said the turnaround was mainly due to optimization of its advertising and marketing business layout, expansion of operating scale, and growth in operating revenue. However, its wholly-owned subsidiary Sichuan Bafang Tengtai Technology paid back taxes and late fees of 9.4993 million yuan, which was recorded in current profit and loss, significantly offsetting net profit. In terms of non-recurring net profit, the company expects a loss of 1.8 million yuan to 3.6 million yuan, compared to a loss of 12.2468 million yuan in the same period last year. Basic earnings per share are expected to be between 0.0015 yuan and 0.0022 yuan.
